Really good stay at this charming guesthouse

I found the room gorgeous, complete with two large windows that let in plenty of light. The shared kitchen offered all the comforts needed, a practical space. The staff was super friendly.
I noticed the door wasn't fully sealed so sounds from the hallway were quite audible. This made it a bit difficult to relax during quieter times.

The staff provided helpful restaurant recommendations. The outdoor garden offered a peaceful spot for morning coffee. The hotel sent WhatsApp updates regarding checkout procedures. These updates were quite useful.
The room lacked sufficient soundproofing I heard noise from the hallway often. The mattress felt too firm and impacted sleep quality. I could feel the vibration of the subway passing underneath the building. This shaking made it hard to rest.

the staff was so friendly. they surprised my wife with champagne for her birthday. such a nice touch it really was. our room was spacious and really clean. the metro is a short walk away. four stops get you to the center.
this made moving luggage a slight challenge.

The staff greeted me with helpful information at check-in. I received reminders about checkout via WhatsApp, very useful. My room featured a balcony where I could enjoy the neighborhood sights and sounds. The guesthouse recommended a restaurant where the hospitality was very nice!!!
I noticed the kitchen area seemed a bit small. There were a few times when many guests were trying to use it at once. It could be better if it were larger.

The room was impeccably clean with housekeeping maintaining a high standard daily. A hairdryer was conveniently available in the bathroom, a feature not always present in other guesthouses I have visited. The room also was very new.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I received complimentary Pasteis De Nata upon arrival. It was a lovely touch. The room was spacious, had a good-sized bathroom, and also featured a balcony.
The location is a bit outside the central area, but the metro access is convenient.
